Turkish Airlines Launches Direct Flight Varna-Istanbul

Turkish Airlines, a leading carrier in Europe,  is to launch a regular Varna-Istanbul flight, according to the press office of Bulgaria's Varna Municipality. A direct flight connecting Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Varna and Istanbul in just 45 minutes, will be launched as of end- May 2014.

The Turkish air carrier plans to conduct the direct flights year-round 4 times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

The new Varna-Istanbul flight would make it possible for Varna to become a bridge to the countries from the Middle and Far East.

In the summer tourist season the Varna Airport will see an increase in the number of flights to and from Russia as Bulgaria Air offers daily flights to Moscow.

There will be regular flights to Brussels, Luxembourg, Bremen and Rostock in May, as well.

From June start regular flights to Kiev, Oslo, Zurich, Yerevan and Dusseldorf.
