Friends of BlackSeaRama Opening Tournament

The season opening tournament at BlackSeaRama was held on April 6th in nice sunny weather. A field of 54 players took part in the opening edition of the popular Friends of BlackSeaRama series, which is traditionally held in four rounds in individual Stableford format.
In Division A (handicap 0-18.5) the winner was Leopold Kostylev with 42 points, followed by Elena-Carmen Schwoebel with 41 and Vernel Craciunescu with 39 points.
In Division B (handicap 18.6-36) first ranked Mihai Drilea with 47 points and his runners-up were Catalina Aldea (44) and Victor Ponta (43).
At the prize-giving ceremony, the BlackSeaRama Golf & Villas's restaurants presented their new season menus.
The next round of the series will be played on May 11th. The Grand prize for the final winner, to be determined at the end of October, is an annual membership in BlackSeaRama.
